  6. Bake for 7 minutes and then cut into 6 triangles. Separate the scones and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Make cream cheese frosting by blending together cream cheese, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Add a splash of milk to thin out if needed.
  8. Pipe the frosting over the scones.
